The Best Routines Of 2012

2012 can't just end without picking its best routines. With 2012 being the year of the Olympics, it gotta have highly ranked routines.

Vault

Maybe she didn't win the Olympic gold medal on vault but no one can deny she is the best vaulter in the world.  Maroney delivered the best ever vault in the team final as she performed a very beautiful and stuck Amanar scoring the highest score in the entire women's gymnastics competition in London. She scored 16.233.

Uneven Bars

Its hard to only pick one especially with existence of World and Olympic champions on that event. The 2009-2012 era has produced a lot of excellent bar workers like Britain's Beth Tweddle who is two time World bar champion and Olympic bronze medalist, China's He Kexin the 2008 Olympic bar champion as well as the 2009 World bars champion, Russia's Aliya Mustafina the London's Olympic bars champion and 2010 World silver medalist, teammate Viktoria Komova with highly artistic routine and let's not forget China's Yao Jinnan and U.S Gabby Douglas with her sky high releases.

Since its really difficult to choose one, so be it A Tie. Gorgeous Aliya Mustafina with her Olympic gold winning routine and Beth Tweddle with her routine at the qualification.  Both earned a well deserved 16.133.

Their connections are breath taking.

Balance Beam

Uneven bars tie! Why not balance beam? China's Sui Lu and Deng Linlin balance beam performances at the event final were the best beam routines of 2012. Their beam routines were perfectly executed with high difficulty that they went on first and second. With only 0.1 difference, Deng took the gold over her teammate. However, their execution scores tied.

Their routines were incredibly solid.

Floor Exercise

It was never a gold winning routine nor did it help to win one. Russia's Viktoria Komova performed the best floor routine in 2012 during the all around final. Her routine is the kind of routines where the gymnast gets declared the all around Olympic winner moments after finishing it. The routine was highly artistic combined with high difficulty.

Although she lost the gold to U.S Gabby Douglas, her routine will be remembered as the best of that night.
